Language Arts

Children are born into this world with the ability to learn how to speak; it is innate and will happen naturally if there are no obstacles impeding its progress.  When children encounter a carefully prepared vocabulary-rich environment the same will hold true for reading and writing.  Even toddlers can begin to hear the various sounds in words through sound games with their teacher.  Thus reading and writing begin to progress as naturally as learning to speak, first through letter sounds, letter symbols, blending words, creating sentences, then fluent reading and writing.
