Mathematics

113 126In Mathematics, children will build an understanding of quantity through interacting with many different materials.  Through handling and counting real objects they create a solid foundation for mathematical understanding.  All concepts are first mastered using concrete materials and then moving to the abstract.  We introduce the base ten system into the thousands, and begin basic operations in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
